HOW TO REACH THE HOTEL FROM THE AIRPORT:

Public Bus - Express
You may use the Express X96 bus destined to Pireaus port. The bus runs every 20 minutes at daytime and every 40 minutes at night, 24 hours a day. The bus terminal at the airport is outside Exit No 4. You may buy the ticket from the kiosk and the cost is 6.00 Euros. If you use this service, the name of the station to get off is "Asteria". Sea View Hotel is only 50 meters away (right from the first corner).

Taxis 
Catching taxis in Greece is a relatively easy business. Taxis are available right outside the airport. Please address to Exit No 3 and stay at the queue. Check that the meter is set to the correct tariff - daytime is tariff 1, whilst night (which runs from midnight to 5am) is tariff 2. You will pay a € 3.00 surcharge from airport. Luggage is charged at € 0.50 cents for each piece over 10kg. Most drivers add a tip so check the breakdown before adding anything extra! The taxi fare to reach the Sea View hotel is approx. € 25.00-30.00 Euros before midnight and approx. € 45.00 after midnight.

MAKE SURE the driver understands the word "GLYFADA" which is our location. Most drivers will take you to Athens centre if you just pass the address as there is also a Xanthou str. in Athens down town.

DRIVING INSTRUCTIONS 

If you intend to hire a car, it will be useful to print http://www.seaview.gr/AthensX96.jpg and carry the map with you. Sea View hotel is located on Xanthou street, very close to Posidonos Ave., which is the main road leading from Athens or Piraeus to Glyfada. Xanthou street is a vertical street to the right side of Possidonos Avenue on the way towards Athens, about 500m from Glyfada Square.

From the airport: Initially follow signs to "Athens", then signs to "Vari" and then signs to "Glyfada". This will bring you onto "Leoforos Posidonos" which is the main coastal highway which leads into Glyfada. The hotel is placed about 500 meters before Glyfada square, at Xanthou street on the right side of "Leoforos Posidonos".

From Athens Centre (downtown): Initially follow signs to "Sygrou Avenue" and then signs to "Glyfada". This will bring you onto "Leoforos Posidonos" which is the main coastal highway which leads into Glyfada. The hotel is situated 500m past "Glyfada Square" on the left side of "Leoforos Posidonos" , however turning left is prohibited. Therefore we suggest you turn left on the first traffic lights past Glyfada square and then take the first street on your right. The hotel should be seen on the fourth corner (right hand side).

From the Port of Piraeus: Initially follow signs to "Faliron" and then signs to "Glyfada". This will bring you onto "Leoforos Possidonos" which is the main coastal highway which leads into Glyfada. The hotel is situated 500m past "Glyfada Square" on the left side of "Leoforos Possidonos", however turning left is prohibited. Therefore we suggest you turn left on the first traffic lights past Glyfada square and then take the first street on your right. The hotel should be seen on the fourth corner (right hand side).
